My Next Book’s Title

Books· Writing

How long do I get to consider myself a newbie author? In my mind, I am brand new to this published author world, but the reality is I have four published novels and more in the works. I still feel like a little fish in a big pond (or however that saying goes). I am so grateful for all of my readers and their enthusiasm; it makes this crazy adventure so rewarding. Thank you for coming along for the ride and championing my published novels along and being excited for my new novels.

Speaking of new novels! Not long ago, this semi-newbie author (me) got the official title for book number 5. Its working title was My Road to You and the publishing team at Revell suggest Where the Road Bends. I love it!

This is my first novel to have a teaser chapter already out (it is in the back of A Lady in Attendance). Pretty crazy that readers already have a sneak peak at this upcoming novel. If you’ve read the teaser then you know that the story opens with Norah King engaged to a man she doesn’t know very well, but that she respects, in order to save her family’s land. Her parents have died and she isn’t making it on her own very well. The wedding is just days away when she finds an injured man on her property and brings him back to her house to convalesce. This decision is most definitely one of many bends in the road.

What questions do you have about Where the Road Bends?
