I’ve been absent on here for a while but wanted to update everyone on my recent publisher change. First I have to say, I have loved, loved, loved writing for Revell. My first five books were published there (how do I have five published novels already?). Have you read any of them? They’re all special to me for different reasons.

The Hope of Azure Springs – Written during my son’s medical crisis. The message of hope and finding happiness after hard things was so close to home. I will treasure this debut novel forever.
Yours Truly, Thomas – A theme of forgiveness and a heroine that is a hopeless romantic. This book introduced me to my favorite Hallmark show Signed, Sealed, Delivered, but not until after it was written when fans reached out to let me know that both my book and the show take place in the same location. It’s been a fun connection ever since.
A Life Once Dreamed – This second chance romance is full of banter and tension (so much fun to write). I loved the gentle setting and fun will they, won’t they.
A Lady in Attendance – A quiet hero that proves that you don’t have to be an “alpha” male to be swoony.
Where the Road Bends – Written during the pandemic, I felt a special connection to my characters who were unsure about their futures. Writing their happily ever after was especially satisfying.
I love that readers are still finding and treasuring these stories.
My original agent at Revell took a chance on me and when she retired, I had the awesome opportunity of learning from another editor.
Someday, I might write for them again (nothing is off the table), but it was time to mix things up a bit. I signed a two book deal with Harper Collins for Historical Novels coming out in 2023 and 2024 and couldn’t be more excited to see how this shift shakes out.
As I’ve begun working with Harper Collins I’ve been amazed, once again, by how great everyone in publishing is. My new editor is not only fantastic at her job, but also tons of fun. I genuinely look forward to any and all communication with her. The team there is dedicated and enthusiastic about books, publishing and authors.
My first novel with Harper Collins, The Letter Tree, releases October 2023 (available for preorder now). It’s a mix of intrigue, romance and historical escapism. Think You’ve Got Mail meets Romeo and Juliet in the vibrant 1920’s. It’s gonna be fun! So glad you’re all along for the journey.
